Mofakro Group was founded by Mohammed Adel Fakhro who, in addition to his role as Chairman of Mofakro Group, is also a board member of a number of his family’s companies including Abdulla Yousif Fakhro & Sons, Adel Fakhro & Sons, Aysha Almoayyed Real Estate Company, Fakhro Electronics, Fakhro Motors, Fakhro Restaurants Company (McDonald’s Bahrain), Fakhro Transport (Budget Car Rental Bahrain), GAC Bahrain, Go Rent A Car Dubai, Go Rent A Car Qatar, Lotus Investment Company, Mona Almoayyed Investment Company, and YK Almoayyed & Sons Properties, among others.  He is also the owner and Chairman of his personal holding company, MBA Fakhro Holding (which owns his shares in his personal and family companies), a board member of Ishraq Gulf Real Estate (Holiday Inn Express Middle East), and the Chairman of SunCity Ventures (Zayt Zaytoon, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, The Yellow Chili, Vapiano).

On the social front, he has been a member of the Youth Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2006, and is a co-founder of the Dreams Society, a charity that supports seriously ill children.

On the political front, he is the founder of a Bahraini modernity-leaning political society with parliamentary ambitions

He is also an occasional writer of opinion-editorial articles on economics and politics.

He is a graduate of Stanford University (which consistently ranks amongst the top five universities in the United States) from which he graduated with Honors with an undergraduate degree in Economics. 
He is particularly fond of math and economics and scored amongst the top 1% in the world on college standardized tests on these subjects (SAT, AP, etc).
